The hotel exceeded our expectations with clean and extremely comfortable rooms. The staff was among the friendliest we have encountered, showing excellent safety measures and providing a welcoming atmosphere. The location was perfect for our cycling route, although not the easiest to access directly from the train station. The dining experience was a highlight with a delicious breakfast selection, but the lack of options for those not booking breakfast was a downside.

My stay at the hotel was a bit of a mixed bag. The rooms, while a bit dated, were very clean and had everything I needed. However, they were a bit far from reception, which might be inconvenient for some. The room was cold and felt really grubby, not quite justifying the €107 I paid for the night. The value for money was questionable considering the room's condition.

I was perfectly satisfied with the service from two different staff members at the hotel. They were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure every request was taken care of promptly. A particularly thoughtful act was when one staff member noticed I was without heels and provided me with slippers, showing genuine care for guest comfort.

The hotel is situated in Enfield, Ireland, a quaint high street village that offers a peaceful setting. The location was good for us as we attended a wedding at Johnstown House, which was nearby. However, it was a bit challenging to reach from the train station.
Dining

The dining experience at the hotel was excellent. The breakfast was freshly cooked to order and offered a beautiful selection of items, including breads, cereals, juice, and tea. The table service, except for cereals, toast, and fruit, added a touch of elegance to the meal.
